Developmental Screenings and Evaluations
Infants, Toddlers and Children ages Birth to Five
- Screenings look at major milestones in a normal childs development. A screening will indicate a childs overall development is within normal expectations or pinpoint areas of concern indicating need for a further evaluation.
- Evaluations are completed by individual professionals such as physical therapists, speech language therapists, developmental therapists, occupational therapist, and hearing and vision specialists. Evaluators look much more closely at the childs development in specific areas and take 1-2 hours per area of evaluation.
