Our Mission
Child and Family Connections #16 serves children (birth through age three) who have concerns in the following areas:
  • Difficulty speaking clearly or understanding language
  • Difficulty with movement
  • Diagnosed medical conditions
  • Diagnosed hearing and vision loss
  • Behavior difficulties
  • General concerns with development

Any child having a condition of birth such as:

  • Premature Birth
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down Syndrome
  • Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
  • Spina Bifida

And live in the following Illinois Counties: Ford, Iroquois, McLean, Champaign, Vermilion or Livingston

Child and Family Connections #16 is a part of the Illinois Early Intervention System and is funded through the Department of Human Services. There is a network of Child and Family Connections Agencies to provide seamless services to children across the state of Illinois. Early Intervention services are offered in the child’s natural learning environment so that all therapeutic interventions can be taught to caretakers involved with the child. Such environments might include: home, day care, church, park, etc.

Remember: Early intervention services minimize declines in development & periodic monitoring of children with established risk of developmental problems can address delays as soon as they arise
