Developmental Screenings
Infants, Toddlers and Children ages Birth to Five
-
Screenings look at major milestones in a normal child's development. A screening will indicate a child's overall development is within normal expectations or pinpoint areas of concern indicating need for a further evaluation.
-
Evaluations are completed by individual professionals such as physical therapists, speech language therapists, developmental therapists, occupational therapist, and hearing and vision specialists. Evaluations look much more closely at the child's develpment in specific areas and take 1-2 hours per area of evaluation.
